Hmmm… “complain”… I think the word is more “enlighten”… as in what you have just done. A good choice of words and a fearless heart to take it to print. That’s what you do… let your heart be the guide, but your mind mind your heart… use the lightening bolt, but with the grace, flexibility, and wit of the feathered quill.. go find the darkened corners and illuminate them, and show us the way…..
…okay…so it was “complain”… who cares?… (kidding)
I’m sure as roads become clear and bonds are established, your thoughts will find some light.
… let me know if you you want more Hawaiian gear… okay, a bit cheeky… I’ll stop…for now….

I surfed over here from the Thunder Run. Outstanding story. Food not safe for the military? You have got to be kidding me. Don’t y’all live on MREs?
*ducking and running*

Seriously though, what was the problem with the food? If you want to email me, that would be okay. I have been intensely curious about the Iraqis and how their lives have changed, and will change once we leave.

Very well written and so touching. It makes me so very grateful for all we have here in the USA. It’s hard on our soldiers to see the hardship endured by the Iraqui’s and not be able to help. Hopefully their kindness towards the Iraqui’s will help to soothe the pain of their uncertain lives.

Thanks so very much for all you have done are doing and will do. We will continue to pray for your safety there as well as when you return here. We know that your stay there has made a difference and for that we are thankful. Here we are complaining, first too hot, then too much rain and now with the season changes too cold too soon. Be safe and hurry home.
